WHAT TEEN GIRLS IN UGANDA LACK MOST IS OPPORTUNITY
Teen girls are at the bottom of the social ladder in the slum. They often are unable to attend school. Mothers and peers encourage sex work and early marriage, leading to rampant teenage pregnancy and homelessness.
OUR PHILOSOPHY IS SIMPLE:
Go deep. Change isn’t quick or easy.
Engage, empower, educate, and equip.
Believe that they CAN.
Change the culture one girl at a time.

WHY WE'RE DIFFERENT
We use 100% of individual donor contributions for our programs and ensure that donors’ hard-earned money makes an immediate impact.
Crisis care, a residential program, Literacy and Vocational education, counseling, and mentoring groups give teen moms and teen girls a gateway out of the cycle of early pregnancy and poverty.
RAPID RESPONSE
We don’t have a “pipeline” of decision-makers. We are able to respond quickly as issues arise because we are IN and OF the community.
Our average turnaround from donors’ contributions to putting the money to work is 5 days.
Projects you can get behind today!
“Thank you so much for empowering the less fortunate ladies in Namuwong to receive their dignity as women. Your impact is felt!”
